Marcus Cage is a vampire who has been captured and tortured by an evil man who will do anything to learn their secrets of longevity. Marcus attacks Josephine Elliot who is camping alone in the desert because he is desperately injured and needs blood.
It turns out that Josephine is his bond mate (sort of the vampire version of “the one”). This book is darker and has more action in it than I Burn for You. There’s a lot of running and hiding; less focus on the relationship and more on getting away from the bad guys. Not bad, but it falls a little flat. Sizemore has the opportunity to tell us more about the vampire clans and their history but unfortunately chooses not to in this book.
