I think this is one of the worst vampire novels I’ve ever read.
I used to like her StarDoc novels, until her writing got dry and mechanical. This was just more of the same. Way too much info on the medical aspects. She’s the doctor.. not us. I found myself rolling my eyes and skipping over parts.

Lynn Viehl’s crisp, forward moving writing style is a wonderful contrast to the many flowery novels in the genre. The characters depicted are multi-faceted and the premise is unique. Some of the “vampirisims” seemed a little cliched. Overall, I was very entertained by the medical aspects, intense romantic scences and underlying conspiracy theory!
Looking forward to more of this series and I hope to see these characters again.

I really loved this book. I am hooked. Alexandra and Micheal are fantastic together. This was not a book I could predict, it was a great read and I will be reading the others. I hope to see Alex and Mike again.

I liked this book, enough to be pulled into the series and look forward to reading more Darkyn novels. I must admit, though, I found the chemistry between Alex and Cyprien unconvincing. For the most part, I enjoyed Alex’s character and her interactions with the rest of the “cast.”

This book is ok. It’s not the best. I don’t know if she read any of Sherrilyn Kenyon’s Dark-hunter novels, but her stories are so similar, the names, the plots and so much of it are like Sherilyn Kenyon. Although I had a harder time reading her book then I have reading a Dark-hunter novel. I would read on to see if the stories get better, if by the 3rd book the stories are the same I would stop. Not really one of my top rating.

Ive bought all your books and I loved them all I wish you could write more .I will miss the series. I have started to read the Kindred and I enjoy them also. I read your books as a story for entertaiment and I dont mix up a good make believe story with real life. As a fiction book that can keep me reading for a couple of hours and not put it down, it has to be pretty good. I loved your writing and what a gift from God to be able to come up with all these wonderful stories and be able to share them with us. I hope that you keep on writing for a very long time. And I also read Sherrilyn Kenyon, Christine Feehan, ect, and I think that you all are different and wonderful and creative writers.
