Jema Shaw is an antiquities expert for her family museum by day, and caretaker to her bitter, crippled mother at night. She also assists the police with crimes scenes when her expertise is needed.
Her dreams are her only escape from her own illness and the endless demands of her mother. At night, a dark warrior demon begins to invade her dreams bringing forbidden longings and desires for something she can never have. His visits have placed her in danger between age old enemies, the Darkyn and the Brethren. Private Demon is the second book in the Darkyn series and a definite must read.

I think this is the least I like among the whole series. However, it was still a good reading.
