Fifth in the Dark Hunter series. Night Play is technically a Dark Hunter novel, but focuses on Vane Kattalakis, a lone werewolf with magical powers. Vane is drawn to Bride Tierney, a zaftig boutique owner with a broken heart who gives him a searingly hot sexual encounter.
Vane is surprised to discover that Bride develops the mark that makes her his predestined mate. He has three weeks to convince her to mate with him or he will spend the rest of his immortal life impotent and alone. Bride is not sure she wants to spend her life with Vane despite the hot sex. She’s freaked out that she may have puppies instead of babies.
Vane also has other problems to deal with including a brother who is in a coma and a father who wants him dead. Kenyon once again delivers her trademark story about a gorgeous flawed hero. An essential read if you want to learn more about Kenyon’s were-hunter world.

this was soooooooooooooo good. vane and wern are my guys. nothing like them. they got me reading all her books over and over again. i enjoy them hoope you do too.

I like this story very much even though I find Bride a a little too fat to be honest size 18! Whew! I may not live in America but the number tells you something. Gotta love Vane. Gorgeous wolf in human or animal form.

excellent book. great story and thrilly characters and the hero is almost illegally hot, sweet, sensitive and profoundly protective of his mate.
loved all of her books but cant wait until she writes one about Ash and he finally gets to have a happy ending. hopefully.
he certainly deserves one.

by the way Amber its not nice to bitch about the charaters. and certainly not by any means constructive, helpfull to viewers or in the least bit funny.to be honest its just very very SAD and jouvenile.

I love this book and I especially loved Vane and Bride. This book left me wanting more of the Were Hunters world. I can’t wait until Fang and Fury’s book comes out.
