Review by Vicky London
Master of Swords is Angela Knight’s fourth novel in the mageverse series. Lark McGuin is a witch and fairly new to the mageverse scene. The book picks up with an event from Master of Wolves, shown from a different perspective. Lark has joined in the battle against the evil vampires, those who were created by drinking from one of the black grails. Avalon has suffered severe losses in the most recent battle when Lark was nearly killed by a vicious vampire. King Arthur decides to pair up newbies with those who are experienced in battle for training. Lark’s mentor is none other than the powerful and handsome night of legend, Gawain.
Lark is struggling with her fears over the vampire attack and her inadequacy to defend herself. The last thing she needs is a delicious vampire knight trying to seduce her every chance he gets. Gawain needs Lark for her blood and much more. Their pairing could prove to be pleasurable for both if he can help her. They don’t have much time because an insane killer bent on revenge is molding himself using the blackest of magics to attain his goal. They must stop him or their entire race could be destroyed.
Angela Knight’s books are always erotic and sizzling and Master of Swords is no exception. She continues her story of this new magical world of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. An interesting addition to the story is the world of the dragons bringing a new character Kel and introducing the next book in the series, Master of Dragons. Read an excerpt of Master of Swords.
