Review by Vicky London
Passionate Thirst is the first book in the Candace Steel Vampire Killer trilogy by Cameron Dean. Candace is as deadly as she is beautiful. Her job as undercover security at a Las Vegas casino gives her the perfect opportunity to perform her second job, vampire hunter. She gets close to the powerful undead and stakes them before they even know what hit them. It’s not just a job for Candace, she’s haunted by memories of her vampire love Ash who almost killed her. They had a passionate affair that left her with scars in more ways than one. Dreams of their lovemaking still haunt her.
Hot singing sensation Temptation McCoy comes to Vegas for a major concert and Candace is assigned to protect her. The ice cold feeling in her veins could only mean one thing, that a very powerful vampire is part of Temptation’s entourage. Can she protect Temptation and manage to eliminate a vampire who is more frightening than anything she has ever encountered? To complicate things even more Ash is in town and doing everything in his power to bring Candace back into his seductive embrace. She’s not sure if she can resist him this time even at the cost of her own life.
Passionate Thirst is a great start to a new series. By all indications it will only be a trilogy but we can hope right? Las Vegas is the perfect town for vampires and Candace Steele is one kick-ass broad who can take care of herself. What makes her interesting is her vulnerability under the hard exterior. Her relationship with Ash is very complicated and angst ridden. It’s very Buffy/Angel but taken to a whole new level. This is a great book and I can’t wait to read the next one, Luscious Craving.
Passionate Thirst is currently available in the US, Canada and UK. You can click on the Amazon link above to order. For UK readers you can order the book in our Vampire Genre UK Shop.

Hi Cameron! My name is Dana and I am 17 years old. I have always been a reader but lately not very many books have caught my interest. I work at Kroger and was walking through the book/magazine aisle on one of my breaks when I saw Eternal Hunger. It was the last one left and noticed it was a vampire killer novel. Usually, I don’t like fantacy but vampires are my weakness. I picked it up, read all about it and had to have it. Later I realized it ws part of a three book series. Kroger didn’t carry the other two books so then I looked online. Then i began to wonder if i had started at the end of the series. Still unsure of the order of the novels, I now know that I definately did not start at the beginning. My plan is to find and purchase the other two books, figure out the order, and start it over reading all three books. I can’t wait til i get those books in my possession. I’d love to see what started it all!

Cameron you are amazing!!!! I cried for a week after I finished Eternal Hunger. You have to write another book, I’m begging you. This can’t be the end for Candace and Ash. You have an amazing talent and I can’t wait to read your next project.
