Review by Vicky London

Bled Dry is the third book in Erin McCarthy’s Vegas vampire series. Brittany Baldizzi is pregnant, knocked up by a vampire that she had a one night stand with. Now she has to tell him, if she can find him, that he’s going to be an undead daddy. Who knew vampires had sperm? Since Brittany is half-vamp herself this child will be unique, a 3/4 vampire.

Corbin Jean Michel Atelier is the father-to-be. The reclusive scientist has been serving out his punishment in Vegas for a crime related to his research. He’s trying to find a cure to reverse the vampirism virus. This child throws a monkey wrench into his plans and strikes fear in his heart. It’s no hardship however to be with the delectable Brittany but she has no desire to marry Corbin and become a happy little family. The attraction that drew them together blossoms into something more but her own family secrets may come back to haunt them. Not to mention the other vampires that are very interested in this new kind of vampire baby.

Previous characters make an appearance along with Ringo and Kelsey and their strange twisted relationship. As usual, Erin McCarthy delivers a fun, light, chick-lit type vampire story about relationships. Not to fear, everything wraps up neatly in a convenient happy ending. My guess is that this will not be the end for the Vegas vampires.
