Scions Resurrection is book one in Patrice Michelle’s Scions series for Silhoutte Nocturne. Ariel Swanson was compelled by a dream to write her novel about vampires. Everyone know that vampires are extinct; they were wiped out after years of terrorizing the human population. Ariel had her own terrifying experience with vampires when her entire family was wiped out by one. The book is her effort to help herself cope with her fear. But, not only are vampires not extinct, she has just drawn a big red target on herself.
Jachin Black can’t believe his eyes when he sees Ariel on TV talking about a prophecy she should know nothing about. Jachin was banished from his pack of vampires but has held on to hope that the prophecy would save them all. He’s determined to find out how Ariel knows about it, but more importantly, the role she will play in it.
Ariel fears and despises vampires, and Jachin hates humans. But their connections to each other through the prophecy will help both races create a better future, one in which vampires and human can live together.
Scions Resurrection is packed with action, drama, and passion. The addition of werewolves adds another complex layer to the story that has a lot of potential. Hopefully the werewolf Landon will make an appearance in future books; I’d like to hear a lot more about him. Fans of Patrice Michelle’s Kendrian vampires won’t be disappointed by this new paranormal series.
