Love the Darkyn series. Especially love the historical figures-Robin Hood in particular- that you have in the series. This short story was great but we want more. Hope you have dozens more books in your series. I will buy everyone of them. Again, great work and thanks for the wonderful Christmas gift.

Im not all the way done with the story but I love it so far. And even tho its 2:00am in the morning I didn’t want to stop reading my my eyes refuse to stay open. I’ve been fallowing the darkyn series since ‘dark need’ and I always enjoyed reading alexandrass parts in the story. The many cherecters of the book are so facinating Im falling in love with jamys, hes mute but so gentel and kind. Keep on writing lynn, im a big fan.

I love how she includes previous character in her lastest books. Need to know what will happen to Alex’s brother, the young lady who was burned and othe characters.

Maria,
Yes, Stay the Night is the last book in the Darkyn series. Take a look at my review of Stay the Night for more info on what Lynn’s plans are next.

I Love the Darkyn series. Please keep them coming. The Free Darkyn Novella like the previous books in this series is one of the best you’ve written. The ending of this book is wonderful, a happy father son tear jerker. I loved it as I did your latest Stay the Night. Long live the Darkyn series!

I agree with the above comments.Im a big fan
of the Darkyn series and Im sad to see it go.I
hope the kyndred will deliver. As there are unanswered questions.I want to know what
happens and what will happen to John.Is Luisa
dreaming or John really heal her and she walked away?Is Marian really lady Marcella?
remember how she watched Jayr in Night Lost? My favorite was Dark Need.I loved
Lucan:)

I too will miss the Darkyn series. It left many unanswered questions? Is Marcella Evareaux Maid Marion? Will Guisbourne find her? What will happen with John and Luisa? Will the Kyndred prevail over the brethren? This was a great series and will be missed.

I fell in love again, and again, with ever book I read. Bravo, Ms. Viehl! Please, don’t leave any unanswered questions. It will be like a favorite T.V. series that Fox Network (because it’s always Fox that does it) that’s cut mid season!
Reading is so much better for us than watching T.V. is, too! Keeps are brains from turning to mush, so help keep us mush free, please!

At the end of the last book in the Darkyn series it says to watch for books about the Kyndred, which I’m assuming are like the “humans” who have been turned but are not truly Darkyn, such as Alexandria, her brother John, and all the others. I’m anticipating seeing the Darkyn through different eyes but I believe they’ll still be there.
However, I personally could keep reading and buying Darkyn books for years to come. No doubt I’ll feel the same way about the Kyndred.

Has anybody noticed that there are four variables to the whole kyndred theory? There is Chris who lived with her mother up until her mother abandoned her, Nick (my favorite) who lived with her mom up until Lady Elizabeth killed her, Lusia who lived with her mother up until she got pregnant, and Jema, who was turned by Jaus as a baby. Jayr fits in with when the “curse” started. Alex, John Liling, and Sam are all mentioned to have some sort of connection with the brethren’s plot.

I have been a fan of the series from the first book. I really would like Ms. Viehl to keep reading the Darkyn stories because there is to many characters and things without finish their stories. The last book “Stay the Night”, it was good but lack a little bit of the excitiment and rush that where in the others books, other darkyns, the order, john, Alexandra and Michael, the end of the story for all of them. For us readers, to know what really happen to each of them as a community, friends and couples.

So, in “Stay the Night”, Michael is talking privately to Geoffrey, and Geoffrey asks Michael if Alex knows who he really is. Has anyone figured out who he is? It’s just killing me. What historical figure is Michael Cyprien?
Thanks for helping me out so I can sleep at night.
