Veil of Midnight is a sexy, fast paced, thriller of a story guaranteed to please fans of the series. I you haven’t had a chance to pick up any of the Midnight Breed books, they are similar in style to J.R. Ward’s vampire books. A group of alpha male warriors fights against an unknown enemy who seeks to destroy the oldest and strongest among them. It will be interesting to see where Adrian takes the series next. I have a feeling that a new member will be joining the order and I’m anxious to see what happens with him. As each warrior finds his true love their numbers are dwindling so fresh blood will be needed, so to speak.
