The weekend-long event debuts August 14th –16th, 2009 in Hollywood, CA. Vampire-Con kicks off on Friday and Saturday with a Vampire Film Festival at the New Beverly Cinema featuring special guests and prizes.
On Sunday, Vampire-Con moves to The Music Box Theatre @ Fonda for a day of celebrity panel discussions, vampire merchandise and contests. Topics of discussion will include TRUE BLOOD, TWILIGHT and…INKED IN BLOOD: 40 years of VAMPIRELLA, celebrating the 40th anniversary of the sexy comic-book icon.
On Sunday evening, children of the night will descend upon the danse macabre VAMPIRELLA’S BALL. Experience the dark side of Los Angeles’ acclaimed underground vaudeville cirque LUCENT DOSSIER and revel the night away to the blood churning grooves of special guest DJ Gary Calamar, music supervisor of HBO’s TRUE BLOOD and long-time host of KCRW’s The Open Road.

i always enjoyed vampire book when i was young. I start reading them again. i never knew vampire con existed. wish i could go. :0(

i love vampire books. it’s actually a wee bit of an obsession…i had no idea vampire con existed either. i think it would be totally awesome to go

yah i cant get to hollywood but if i could id love to i so happy im not the only vampire obsesser my parents think im crazy so do the other kids at school =) im so hhhaapppyyy
