The reason why I like short stories so much is because they capture the imagination with a hook and they don’t reveal all the details making you wonder what happens after the story is over. This story was a bit too simplistic leaving you to wonder what exactly drew these two together. It’s not really clear why Brian and Cassie are in love only that they really enjoy having sex with each other. Becoming a vampire because you’re bored with your life seems like a poor idea even if it does come with guaranteed hot sex.
