Angela Knight writes one of the hottest vampire series out there. Her novels are very explicit and not for the faint of heart. She never liked the idea of the classical undead, damned vamp as a hero, so she changed the rules completely.
In the “Mageverse” only men become vampires, while women become powerful witches. Knight always loved Arthurian legend so she used that as the basis of her universe. The Knights of the Roundtable became vampires and the ladies of Camelot became witches. The vamps and witches share a symbiotic relationship — the vampires needed the witches’ blood, and the witches needed to give it.
