Jennifer Armintrout is a twenty-something stay at home mom. Her desire has always been to write romance novels. Her debut is Blood Ties: The Turning, the first in a trilogy from Mira featuring Dr. Carrie Ames and vampire Nathan Grant. She got inspiration for her book from working in an ICU and having to take bodies down to the morgue. Her overactive imagination made her wonder what would happen if one of the bodies actually got up and attacked her. Her novels have a young, fresh perspective to them.
